This is the second lecture in my 4 part interactive lecture series. If you missed the first lecture DO NOT WORRY... it was designed so you can experience one or all lectures. For those of you that missed it, you can be apart of the recap of the first lecture and/or purchase at a later date, the video recording of the first one: FEEL YOUR ENERGY will be available in late Fall.
In this second lecture we will begin with an experience of a vocal sound immersion. Followed by a short summary about the first lecture
FEEL YOUR ENERGY, discuss and learn through different exercises how we move our energy intentionally and unintentionally, affecting not only ourselves but the world around us.

Today you may find several people that practice "Reiki". The specific type of Reiki used at Reflecting The Light is Usui Shiki Ryoho. The word Reiki means "UNIVERSAL ENERGY". Reiki is not associated with any religion and is practiced with the understanding that the same energy that created the universe can be used to help the mind and body in a holistic, healing way. Those that practice Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga, Meditation or even pray, know about universal energy. Love and Fear are often thought of as only emotions, but those two emotions have energy around them. When we LOVE, we throw out higher vibrational energy to the universe, when we FEAR we throw out lower vibrational energy. With the use of Reiki and beyond, the healing energy you will receive in a session comes from a absolute place of unconditional LOVE and desire for each client to be whole and well, free of DIS-EASE.
Reflecting THE Light specialize in a variety of Reiki services as well as services beyond the practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho system of healing and because no two people are alike, each person deserves and will receive their own personalized Reiki and beyond session. Each session may be different, depending on the client and will have its own benefits. Reiki and beyond is beneficial to EVERYONE who is open to receiving the energy.

Hands-On
Touch Energy
With Hands-Oni, I am able to use universal energy to pass energy through touch. With this type of Reiki, clients may feel energy pass from my hands to themselves, to help ease the mind and body from discomforting thoughts and physical ailments. The possible areas of the body that can be touched are the head, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet, upper chest near the heart and sometimes the abdomen (depending on the client's comfort level).
Hands-Off
Non-Touch Energy
With Non-Touch, I can offer the same passing of energy from myself to the client without touch. This form of Reiki is best for those who do not like the sensation of being touched, have a physical condition or are under going a medical treatment that does not allow skin contact, such Chemo or Radiation.
Distance
Distance Energy
With Distant "Online" Reiki, Reiki is provided through means of Zoom, Skype or FaceTime. For many, even though in person might be better, during this time of Shelter in Place, Online Reiki IS THE NEXT BEST THING. The truth is Reiki is known as "SMART ENERGY" and when the intention is placed between the client and the Reiki practitioner, the energy can be felt.

Sound Healing
Crystal Bowls
With Sound Healing, you will experience a deep state of peace while the crystal bowls are being played. A session of just the sound healing will be 50 minutes or you may add Sound Healing to any Reiki session for an additional charge of $25. Must be at least 8 years old. *This service will be prerecorded and will be coming soon to work with the current situation of Shelter In Place.
SPIRITUAL COMPANIONSHIP/ DIRECTION
Spiritual Listening
Spiritual Companionship/ Direction is the only non Reiki service offered. It is a 55 minute session. With Spiritual Companionship, the client has the opportunity to have a trained and certified Spiritual Director, listen and help explore all things spiritual. Try Spiritual Companionship and book this service today.

What should I wear for my Reiki and/ or Sound Healing session?
Reflecting THE Light doesn't offer massages with their Reiki sessions and is a clothes on treatment. You are welcomed to wear whatever clothes are most comfortable for you.
What type of payments do you take?
Reflecting THE Light excepts: cash, Venmo, Zelle and credit cards. Starting September 2020 there is a credit card fee added to each service.
How often should I come to reiki?
Reiki can be received as much or as little as you want. There is no such thing as receiving too much Reiki.
